St Georges Day
I was fortunate enough this week to be able to spend a couple of hours with Cllr Tim Dodds, who represents Lightwater at Surrey Heath Borough Council, when in addition to the origins of St George, we also discussed both national and local politics. A thoughtful and considerate man, Tim Dodds is also a keen and involved Councillor who strives to keep the rural villages and Lightwater in particular, at the forefront of decision making at Surrey Heath House. More recently, Tim and I have been working on ways to improve the traffic flow and parking layout in the centre of Lightwater and shall shortly be promoting our proposals to the long list of landowners involved, including the local authorities.
